FAQ's - updated June 2023

1. Do we have to make a campground booking?

   No, we dont currently take campground bookings.  However as we currently have limited unpowered and over 80 powered sites, we suggest arriving before lunch time or phoning once in town to check availability.  Once arriving at the Lodge, please go to reception and we will check you in from there.  

2.  Is the Fitzroy River Lodge pet friendly?

  Not in the motel rooms. Pets are welcome in the campground, though we do require them to be restrained due to the local wildlife.

3.  What is there to do in Fitzroy Crossing?

    We are between two of the most amazing national parks: Dangghu Gorge, Windjana Gorge, and Tunnel Creek.  Not to mention the historic sites around Fitzroy Crossing.  We recommend a two night stay to comfortably see everything.

4. Is fuel available?

  Yes, we sell both Diesel and Unleaded.  Cheapest in town.
